KATHMANDU: The National Sports Council (NSC) has decided to halt all sporting activities for a week over the fear of COVID-19 pandemic.

A meeting held under Chairmanship of NSC Member-Secretary Ramesh Kumar Silwal on Tuesday decided to postpone sporting competitions to ward off a possible outbreak of the disease in Nepal.

The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has been currently organizing the ‘B’ Division league while other sporting activities have been postponed.
