Preparations for SEE complete in Province-2

BIRGUNJ: Preparations for Secondary Education Examination (SEE) taking place from March 19 have been completed in all eight districts of Province-2, according to the Province Education Development Directorate.

Director Chudamani Phunyal said that security would be tightened this year after question papers were leaked in the Province last year.

He said that answer sheets have already been reached in all exam centers and question papers would be handed over from today to security bodies deployed at exam centers.

A total of 72,839 students of Province-2 are sitting for SEE this year. The highest number of students -11,393 students from Dhanusha and the lowest 7,705 from Rautahat – are seating for the exam.

Two hundred and 67 exam centers have been determined in Province-2.

Similarly, 34 exam centers have been determined in Saptari, 39 in Siraha, 43 in Dhanusha, 30 in Mahottari, 35 in Sarlahi, 30 in Rautahat, 32 in Bara and 24 in Parsa.

According to the Directorate, all exam centers have been circulated to conduct the SEE exam in a disciplined manner and stern action would be taken against superintendent and staff deployed for exam centers if misconduct activities are found occurred during exam hour.
