Four accused of 38 quintal gold smuggling released on bail



BIRATNAGAR: Four persons accused of 38 quintal gold smuggling has been released on bail on Monday.

A single bench of Judge Medani Prasad Poudel at Morang District Court released wife of Chudamani Uprety alias Gorey, Narmada, Chetnath Bhandari, Gita Bhandari and Sunil Shrestha on bail.

They had appeared before the court today.

A case was filed against 62 persons in the gold smuggling case that was revealed while investigating the murder of Sanam Shakya of Urlabari.
