KATHMANDU: Lalitpur Metropolitan City has announced a public holiday on Monday to mourn the death of former mayor of the metropolis Bekha Ratna Shakya.
Shakya, 89, passed away in the course of treatment on Sunday.
Issuing a notice the metropolis said the offices will remain closed in all wards from 1 to 29 and other subordinate offices.
