Six fatalities take Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll to 1,749



KATHMANDU: As many as six COVID-19 patients succumbed to the pandemic in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the new deaths have taken the country’s death toll from the coronavirus to 1,749 as of Thursday afternoon.

Meanwhile, the country recorded a total of 947 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 251,692in the country as of Thursday afternoon.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that now the country has 9,580 reported active cases of the virus.
In the past 24 hours, altogether 947 infected people got recovery from the virus infection. So far, 240,363 people recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

Similarly, six persons succumbed to the virus across the country in the past 24 hours, hitting the total COVID-19 related deaths 1,749.
