Police Inspector held for performing forcefull abortion

He was arrested by the police on the charge of having an abortion against his wife’s will at a health clinic in Parbat.

According to the District Police Office, Parbat, Inspector Sharma was arrested from his place of work on December 8 after the victim lodged a complaint alleging that she was pregnant after having sexual intercourse with him.

The victim had lodged a complaint on November 30 accusing her of forcibly killing her feutus.

Inspector Manish Shrestha of the District Police Office, Parbat informed that the Parbat District Court has extended the remand for 10 days for the investigation.

The victim has been examined at Parbat District Hospital on December 9. The victim had a love affair with Inspector Sharma.

After the girl became pregnant, Sharma was preparing to marry another girl.

When she found out that the victim was going to marry another girl, she got married to a police inspector with the help of human rights activists.
