Biplav outfit cadre arrested in Khotang



KHOTANG:  A cadre of outlawed Nepal Communist Party led by Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’ has been arrested in Khotang.

Acting on a tip-off, a joint squad of Nepal Police and Armed Police Force arrested 22-year-old KB Tamang ‘Bagdhwaj’ of Sotang rural municipality-4, Ghodare, Solukhumbu.

Tamang was arrested while he was staying in a tent put up in the jungle of Sekhuwa in Banjhechyandanda in Sakela rural municipality of Khotang district, said DSP Narayan Prasad Chimoriya of Khotang.

Police seized an improvised gun, gun-power, shrapnel, bullets and other logistics from the possession of Tamang.
