Six gamblers nabbed with Rs 600,000 in Butwal



RUPANDEHI: Police have arrested six people for gambling in Butwal.

A team of the Area Police Office Butwal arrested them while they were gambling at a Honda Hotel at Butwal Sub-Municipalicpality-11, Majhgaon.

A police team that went on a tip-off at around 3:15 pm on Monday arrested six people living in different places of Butwal while they were gambling.

Police also recovered Rs 600,000 from them.

The arrested are Hom Chhetri, 44, of Butwal-4, Rajesh Rasaili, 28, of Butwal-11, Kushal Thapa, 26, Akash Khatri, 27, Dheeraj Pradhan, 37, and Samvidhan Khatri, 35, of Butwal-9.
