Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll hits 1,247 with 17 new fatalities



KATHMANDU: A total of 17 people died of the coronavirus in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus death toll has reached 1,247 as of Tuesday afternoon with the new deaths.

Similarly, 502 people have been diagnosed coronavirus positive in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, Nepal’s COVID-19 tally has reached 211,475 with fresh cases as of Tuesday afternoon.

A total of 3,112 tests were carried out in the last 24 hours.

A total of 2,878 individuals got discharged from the hospitals in the past 24 hours while the number of people winning the battle against the virus reached 179,242 in the country.

Nepal currently has 30,986 active cases.

Likewise, 1,003 people are in quarantine facilities across the country at present.
