Two including a sexagenarian succumb to COVID-19 in Dharan



SUNSARI: Two additional infected people have died in the course of treatment at BP Koirala Institue of  Health Sciences in Dharan.

The deceased are a 65-year-old man of Dharan Sub Metropolitan City, and a 56-year-old man from Shiwasatakshi municipality-11, Jhapa, said Dr Ashish Shrestha, deputy spokesperson for the hospital.

The elderly from Dharan, who had been admitted to the hospital on Thursday after testing positive for coronavirus the other day, succumbed to the virus on Fridday night.

Similarly, the other infected man from Jhapa, who was diagnosed with the virus on Thursday, passed away at 7:45 pm Friday, informed Shrestha.

He was a cancer patient, according to Shrestha.
