Oman’s Tourism Minister assures cooperation in tourism



DOHA: Nepali Ambassador to Oman Sarmila Parajuli Dhakal and Minister for Heritage and Tourism Salem bin Mohammed Al Mahrouqi held a meeting.

During a meeting, Ambassador Dhakal congratulated the Minister Mahrouqi on his appointment as Minister of Heritage and Tourism.

Ambassador Dhakal briefed the Omani Minister about the cultural and natural heritage of Nepal.

Stating that the number of tourists visiting Nepal from Oman has increased in recent days, she requested the Minister and the Government of Oman to cooperate in tourism promotion in the coming days.

Minister Mahrouqi openly praised Nepal’s natural resources and cultural diversity and expressed his commitment to cooperate in tourism in the coming days.
