Nepal unchanged in latest FIFA rankings



KATHMANDU: Nepal has remained unchanged in the latest FIFA rankings.

Nepal is still ranked 170th in the new rankings released by the international football governing body.

Similarly, Nepal is placed third among South Asian countries. India and the Maldives are ahead of Nepal. India dropped one place to the 109th position and the Maldives is at 155th position.

Below Nepal are Bhutan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Pakistan. Bhutan is ranked 189th, Bangladesh 187th, Sri Lanka 206th and Pakistan 200th.

Belgium remains at the top of the new rankings, followed by France, Brazil, England and Portugal, while Portugal jumped two places to rank fifth.
