66-year-old man succumbs to COVID 19 at Koshi Hospital



BIRATNAGAR: A 66-year-old man from Biratnagar Metropolitan City-6 has died of COVID-19 while undergoing treatment at Koshi Hospital.

He was admitted to the hospital at around 11 pm on Wednesday due to health complications and died an hour later, Dr. Laxminarayan Yadav, Spokesperson at the Hospital said.

He tested positive for coronavirus on Thursday morning.

He was taken to Koshi Hospital for treatment after he complained of fever, cough and respiratory problems.

With this, the number of deaths due to coronavirus infection in Biratnagar has reached 20.
