Coronavirus cases cross 5.1 million in India



KATHMANDU: The number of coronavirus cases has crossed 5.1 million in India as of Thursday morning.

With 97,859 cases in the past 24 hours, the number of coronavirus cases has reached 5,115,859 in the country.

Currently, 1,010,614 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 4,022,049 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed 83,000.

With 1,139 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 83,230 according to Worldometer.
