25 new cases in Gandaki Pradesh, tally hits 1,256



KASKI: New 25 coronavirus cases were reported in Gandaki Pradesh on Friday afternoon.

According to a press note issued by the Ministry of Social Development of Gandaki Pradesh, the newly infected are seven from Tanahun and 18 are from Nawalparasi East.

Five women and 20 men are among those infected, said Dr Binod Bindu Sharma, the Spokesperson for the COVID-19 Control and Prevention Program of Gandaki Pradesh.

The new coronavirus cases were confirmed during tests at Regional Tuberculosis Center, Pokhara and Provincial Public Health Laboratory, Hetauda.

With this, the number of coronavirus cases has reached 1,256 in Gandaki Pradesh.
