Rautahat Police seizes smuggled goods



RAUTAHAT: Rautaht Police has confiscated goods including two motorcycles worth hundreds of thousands or rupees on Friday.

According to District Police Office, Rautahat, a team of police personnel from the Rampurwa police post seized two bikes, liquors and clothes worth millions of rupees on Friday.

DSP Bharat Shrestha, the spokesperson for Rautahat Police, informed that the goods and items brought illegally from Kundawa, Chainpur, India have been confiscated from Ishanath Municipality bordering India.

According to DSP Shrestha, the confiscated goods and items including two motorbikes have been sent to District Customs Office, Gaur for further action.
