COVID-19 infected Siraha youth had returned from Malaysia 66 days ago

SIRAHA: A 30-year-old man of Mauwahi of Sakhuwanankarkatti Rural Municipality-1 of Siraha had returned home from Malaysia 66 days ago.

Rural Municipality Chairman Kedar Prasad Yadav informed that his swab was collected five days ago.

“A 30-year-old man of Sakhuwa-19 of Siraha has been named in the bulletin of the Ministry of Health which has confused everyone from the people’s representatives to the police. There are only five wards,” Chairman Yadav said,
“The address confused us. It has been revealed that the youth belongs to Mauwahi of Sakhuwanankarkatti Rural Municipality-1”

This is the first case of coronavirus confirmed in Siraha. The number of corona cases in Province 2 has reached 103.
