28 journalists undergo Coronavirus screening in Bhaktapur



BHAKTAPUR: Madhyapur Thimi municipality has carried out Coronavirus screening on journalists working in the Bhaktapur district.

Nepal Korea Maitri Hospital run by the municipality collected swabs of 28 journalists this morning.

“The collected swabs will be tested through Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) machine set up by the hospital,” said Madan Sundar Shrestha, Mayor of municipality.

With infection cases rising in the district of late, the swabs of the journalists have been collected for testing since they are the ones who work on the frontline in the society, said Pushkar Raj Budhathoki, President of Federation of Nepali Journalists, Bhaktapur Chapter.
