UK reports 12,868 deaths with 761 in 24 hrs

KATHMANDU: The United Kingdom (UK) has reported 761 new deaths taking total death toll to 12, 868 as of Thursday morning.

With 4, 603 new cases, the number of infection cases has surged to 98, 476 according to Worldometer. Currently, 85, 264 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 1, 559 are critical.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 210 countries including two international conveyances across the world, killing 134,375 and infecting 2,077,839 people as of Thursday morning.
