KATHMANDU: A Nepali national suspected with coronavirus has been kept at an isolation ward at Bharatpur Hospital in Chitwan district.

According to Dr Shree Ram Tiwari, chief medical superintendent at the hospital, the suspect had returned home from India, few days ago.

His throat swab was brought to Kathmandu for test and its result will be out on Monday, Tiwari said.

Earlier, samples of three people in Chitwan had been taken to Kathmandu. All of them tested negative for the novel virus.

It has been arranged that a patient suspected with the coronavirus can go straight to room number 201 at the hospital, which has 19 beds.
