Brief rain forecast for hilly region



KATHMANDU: The Meteorological Forecasting Division has forecast brief rain at one or two places of the hilly regions on Sunday.

In a weather bulletin issued for today, the met office said that the weather will be generally cloudy in the hilly regions and partly cloudy in the rest of the country.

Meanwhile, temperature across the country including in the Kathmandu Valley is on the rise for the past few days.

According to meteorologist Min Kumar Aryal, if no freak weather system developed, the temperature will continue to
increase as winter is gradually on the course of departure.

In this period, the temperature in the mornings and evenings will remain relatively cool than in the daytime. In other parts of the country including in the Kathmandu Valley, days are becoming hotter.
