Nepal to return 200,000 kilograms red sandalwood to India

KATHMANDU: Nepal government has decided to return around 200,000 kilograms of red sandalwood seized from different parts of the country to India.

A meeting of Council of Ministers held on Monday decided to return 173,071.792 kilograms of red sandalwood to the southern neighbor.

The red sandalwood is being returned as per the act that states that such seized goods should be returned to the country of origin.
