Two point-agreement, not four, reached between PM Oli and Prachanda: Source

KATHMANDU: At a time when reports about Prime Minister KP Oli and Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” agreeing on a four-point understanding emerged, a leader of Dahal camp said the two leaders agreed only on two points.

The two leaders have only agreed to withdraw the ordinance related to the Constitutional Council, and the signature campaign to convene a special session of parliament.

The other two points, including withdrawal of all allegations (including the letters/political documents) against one another, and presenting a joint proposal in the next meeting of the Standing Committee were not agreed upon, the source said.

Earlier, a party source had revealed that Prime Minister Oli and Chairman Dahal had reached a four-point agreement to end the disputes within the party.

“This is nothing but propaganda from Baluwatar,” the source close to Dahal camp said dismissing the reports of the four-point agreements.
