Two more die from COVID-19 in Pokhara

POKHARA: Two more people have died from COVID-19 in Pokhara Metropolitan City in Kaski district.

An 84-year-old man of Pokhara Metropolitan City-12 died from COVID-19 in the course of treatment at Fishtail Hospital at 5:45 am today, said Dr Binod Bindu Sharma, the spokesperson of COVID Prevention and Control Program of Gandaki Pradesh. The octogenarian had tested positive for COVID-19 on December 8.

Similarly, a 76-year-old man of Pokhara-1 succumbed to the virus at the same hospital at 10:20 am today.

The elderly had tested positive for COVID-19 on December 10.  According to Dr Sharma, he had been suffering from diabetes and kidney-related ailments.

With this, the number of deaths from COVID-19 has reached 186 in Gandaki Pradesh.
