Province 2 confirms 11 new cases, 43 discharged

JANAKPUR: Province 2 has confirmed coronavirus infection in 11 people in the last 24 hours.

Senior Physician of Directorate of Health, Province 2, Dr. Kamlesh Prasad Yadav stated that the coronavirus tally in the province has reached 16,335 with the fresh cases.

Tests conducted at the Provincial Public Health Laboratory, Janakpur, Gajendra Narayan Singh Sagarmatha Hospital, Rajbiraj have confirmed the infection in four each from Dhanusha and Saptari, two from Mahottari and one from Siraha.

Similarly, 43 people have been discharged after recovering from the infection in the last 24 hours.

With this, the total number of people recovering from the infection has reached 15,294.
