Youth arrested for running ‘Rapist Organization’ group on Facebook



KATHMANDU: Police have arrested a man for running a Facebook group called ‘Rapist Organization’.

The Cyber Crime Bureau has arrested 19-year-old Nabin Basnet of Pyuthan from East Nawalparasi.

He was being brought to Kathmandu, said SSP Navindra Aryal.

Police had earlier launched an investigation into the group. He has been accused of promoting rapes through a Facebook group.

Police said that action would be taken against him as per the Electronic Transactions Act.
