315 COVID-19 patients undergoing treatment in ICU, 77 on ventilator support

KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Health and Population has said that 315 COVID-19 patients in Nepal are undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and 77 have been put on ventilator support.

According to the Ministry of Health, 32 persons are undergoing treatment in ICU in Province 1, 13 in Province 2, 170 in Bagmati Province, 20 in Gandaki Province, 54 in Lumbini Province, 18 in Karnali Province, and eight in Sudurpaschim Province.

Spokesperson Dr. Gautam also said that nine in Province 1, one in Province 2, 58 in Bagmati, four in Gandaki Province, two in Lumbini Province and two in Sudurpaschim Province are on the ventilator support.
