Sexagenarian succumbs to COVID-19 in Biratnagar

MORANG: A 65-year-old man has died from coronavirus in Biratnagar of Morang district on Friday morning.

The sexagenarian succumbed to the virus in the course of treatment at Nobel Teaching Hospital, Biratnagar at 3 am today.

Originally from Biratnagar Metropolitan City-3, Buddha Chowk, the elderly’s swab sample test report came out positive during test at the laboratory of Koshi Hospital on Wednesday.

The patient had been admitted to the COVID Hospital of Nobel Teaching Hospital on Thursday evening after he complained of respiratory complications.

He died in the course of treatment in less than 11 hours of his admission to the hospital, said Narayan Dahal, the manager of the hospital.
