Karnali Province reports 51 new cases of coronavirus



SIMKOT: Karnali Province reported as many as 51 new cases of coronavirus on Wednesday making the coronavirus tally in the province 2,914.

According to Brikh Bahadur Shai, the Chief of Health Service Division under the Ministry for Social Development of Karnali Province, the province witnessed 33 coronavirus cases in Salyan, 13 in Surkhet and 1 each in Dailekh, Jajarkot and Udayapur District on Wednesday.

Other cases are reported to be from outside the province.

In the meantime, a total of 36 people from different isolation centers have been discgarged making the number of total discharged cases in the province to 2,605.

The number of active cases of this pandemic is 303 in the province.

Six people have lost their lives of the pandemic here in the province till date.
