40 more NA soldiers test positive for coronavirus in Doti

DHANGADHI: As many as 40 Nepali Army (NC) deployed in Doti have tested positive for coronavirus in the swab tested in Doti District Hospital.

According to Saurav Shrestha, the in-charge of Doti Hospital, out of 105 swabs tested in the laboratory, 40 NA members tested coronavirus positive in the past 24 hours.

He informed that out of 143 swabs of Nepal Army collected on Tuesday, 90 swabs were tested on Tuesday.

Six NA personnel tested positive for coronavirus on that day whereas out of the 53 swabs tested on Wednesday, 40 tested positive.

Earlier, 21 NA soldiers of the same barrack had tested coronavirus positive.

The number of coronavirus cases in the Doti-based battalion has reached 67.

Doti has seen 1,029 cases of coronavirus till date out of which 101 are active cases.
