Lightning kills 13-yr-old girl in Sunsari



INARUWA: A minor girl has died after being struck by lightning in Dewangunj rural municipality-6 in Sunsari district.

The deceased has been identified as 13-year-old Sushma Paswan, a local, said District Police Office, Sunsari.

Sushma sustained critical injuries due to lightning that struck amid thunderstroms on Tuesday afternoon while she was fishing in a rice field.

Police said the victim breathed her last while being rushed to hospital.
