3.8-magnitude aftershock felt yet again

KATHMANDU: An another aftershock has occurred with its epicenter at Ramche in Sindhupalchowk district on Wednesday morning.

According to National Seismological Center (NSC), Lainchaur, a 3.8-magnitude aftershock was felt at 6:10 am today.

Earlier, a 6-magnitude aftershock had struck the central Nepal at 5:19 am.

NSC Chief has said it was the aftershock of the 2015 mega earthquake that hit Nepal with its epicenter in Barpak of Gorkha district.

A 7.8-magnitude earthquake had struck Nepal on April 25 in 2015, killing nearly 9,000 people and injuring more than 22,000 people.

The deadly earthquake toppled multi-story buildings in the Kathmandu Valley, the capital, and induced landslides and avalanches in the Himalayan mountains.
