COVID-19 kills 82,091, infects 5,018,034 in India

KATHMANDU: The number of coronavirus infection cases has crossed 5,000,000 in India.

With a gradual surge in the number of daily infection cases, over 91,000 people have been infected in the last 24 hours. With 91,120 cases in a single day, the numher of cases has reached 5,018,034 in India as of Wednesday morning.

Currently, 996,832 people are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals across India while  3,939,111 have returned home after recovery.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavarius has crossed 82,000. With 1,283 deaths in the last 24 hours, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 82,091 until the filing of this news, according to Worldometer.
