Parsa, Bara record 47 new coronavirus cases   



PARSA: Coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 47 more people in Bara and Parsa districts.

A test conducted at the laboratory of Narayani Hospital in Birgunj on Saturday night diagnosed 37 men and 10 women in the age group of eight to 70 years coronavirus positive.

According to Dr. Uday Narayan Singh at Narayani Hospital, seven employees of different wards of the hospital have also been infected.

The infection has also been confirmed in a journalist, six male employees of Prime Pharma, three employees of Narayani Voyodha Hospital, a 22-year-old male and a 42-year-old kidney patient undergoing treatment in the ICU of Narayani Hospital.

Similarly, 13 people from Birgunj Metropolitan City, 12 from Pokhariya Municipality, one man from Bahudarmai Municipality and one man each from Mahagadhimai and Kalaiya of Bara have also contracted the pandemic, said Dr. Singh.
