Dolakha enforces COVID-19 lockdown from today



DOLAKHA: A lockdown has been announced in Dolakha district until August 23 after the number of coronavirus cases has surged of late.

A meeting of the District Crisis Management Committee decided to enforce the lockdown.

Chief District Officer Bhim Kant Sharma said that COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in some localities of the district and it has been decided to enforce the lockdown to prevent further spread.

It has been completely banned to go out of the house and operate vehicles in the district from 6 am today to midnight on August 23 except for urgent work.
