Irresponsible remarks by PM Oli spoiling diplomatic relation: NC leader Shekhar Koirala



BIRATNAGAR: Nepali Congress (NC) Central Committee member Dr. Shekhar Koirala has said that Nepal’s diplomatic relation with the friendly nation is deteriorating due to the irresponsible remarks by Prime Minister KP Oli.

Speaking on the sidelines of the convention of Nepal Embroidery and Handicraft Sewing and Knitting Workers’ Union in Biratnagar, Koirala said, “A few days ago, he said that Ayodhya lies in Nepal, but he could not give any proof.”

He said that the prime minister, who holds a responsible post, should think carefully before speaking and should not talk baselessly and without facts.

“The prime minister should talk as little as he can, not as much as he likes,” Koirala said.

He also said that PM Oli’s recent remarks have damaged the people-to-people relation between Nepal and India.
