Nick Hockley appointed as interim Cricket Australia CEO



KATHMANDU: The Board of Cricket Australia has appointed Nick Hockley as the Interim Chief Executive Officer of ICC T20 World Cup 2020.

A Board meeting of Cricket Australia held on Tuesday appointed Hockley to the post as an Interim CEO after Kevin Roberts resigned from his post.

CA’s chairman Earl Eddings thanked Robert for his services, also adding that the board will conduct an international search for a suitable candidate to replace him as cricket makes a return post the COVID-19 strike.

Issuing a press note this morning, Chairman of the Board of Cricket Australia, Earl Eddings, said Australian is looking for a competent CEO to take the cricket forward after the COVID-19 pandemic.

Hockley has 13-years’ experience of working in crucial cricket competitions.
