India records 380 coronavirus deaths in 24 hours

NEW DELHI: India recorded a surge of 10,667 coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours.

India’s Health Ministry data says the coronavirus death toll has increased by 380 in India by Monday evening.

With this, the total number of cases in the country has reached 3,43,091 while the death toll has reached 9,900.

India is ranked fourth in the world with the highest coronavirus numbers after the United States, Brazil and Russia.

As the COVID-19 cases in the country continue to rise, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called for a meeting with Chief Minister of all states today and tomorrow.

He will be discussing the coronavirus situation and lockdown with the chief ministers of states in the meeting.
