Coronavirus kills 13, 993, infects 202, 918 in Brazil



KATHMANDU:  Brazil has witnessed a surge in the deaths of people from Coronavirus of late. According to Worldometer, the death toll has reached 13, 993 after 835 died in the last 24 hours.

With 13, 761 new cases, the number of infection cases has surged to 202, 918 as of Friday morning.

Currently, 109, 446 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 8, 318 are critical. Meanwhile, 79, 479 have recovered after treatment.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 213 countries including two international conveyances across the world, killing 303,030 and infecting 4,520,092  people as of Friday morning.
