EU to host donor conference for coronavirus vaccine search



 

BRUSSELS: The European Union (EU) is hosting an online conference on May 4 for organizations and governments to pledge money to support the search for the novel coronavirus vaccine.

According to the European Commission President Ursula Von der Leyen, has appealed for funding to support this global initiative.

Leyen said this at a news conference with European Council President Charles Michel.

She also hoped that organizations and countries all over the world will surely respond to this call. (With inputs from Agencies)
