NA trains health workers on coronavirus



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Army (NA) is training its health workers on dealing with people testing positive for coronavirus.

It has set up 48 tents outside the NA Headquarters as a dummy quarantine site to organize the training.

NA Spokesperson Bigya Dev Pandey informed us that the training session will begin on Monday. Around 50 health workers in the NA will take part in the training.

According to him, the trainees will be demonstrated and acquainted with the quarantine site, and about the treatment procedures of the COVID-19 infected people.

The NA has set up a 10-bed isolation ward in the Chhauni-based hospital for infected persons.
