CHITWAN: The final match of Gautam Buddha Cup cricket tournament is taking place today.

Narayani and Rapti are locking their horns for the title in the tournament. The match will take place at Gautam Buddha International Cricket Stadium in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-15 at 11 am.

Subash Khakurel-led Narayani had defeated Bagmati captained by Gyanendra Malla in the first match.

Similarly, Bagmati had been out after Binod Bhandari-led Rapti defeated it by 11 runs in the first match.Rapti had entered the final by defeating Narayani by one wicket in the match held on Monday.

Khakurel had shouldered the responsibility of captainship after skipper Paras Khadka tested positive for COVID-19 the day before the match began.

Bagmati Pradesh Cricket Association had taken the initiative to organize this cricket tournament that had been hit by the COVID-19.
