RUPANDEHI: A 43-year-old father has stabbed his 19-year-old son to death in Rupandehi.
According to Area Police Office Butwal, Sher Bahadur Gurung of Tilottama-11, Ganeshnagar has stabbed his son Padam Bahadur Gurung when later tried to settle down the row going on between the father and the mother.
Drunk Sher Bahadur had started the row by verbally assaulting his wife and when the son tried to convince him stabbed the son.
Padam Bahadur had had the spot death.
The police have taken Sher Bahadur in custody and have initiated a probe into the incident.
