Postnatal woman dies of coronavirus infection



SUNSARI: A 19-year-old girl has died of COVID-19 at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Sunsari.

A teenage girl from Barahakshetra Municipality-5 of Sunsari died on Saturday while undergoing treatment, according to the hospital administration.

According to Dr. Ashish Shrestha, joint spokesperson of the hospital, she was admitted to COVID-19 hospital on Friday after delivering a child five days ago.

She tested positive for coronavirus on Friday. With this, the number of COVID-19 deaths at the hospital has reached 98.
