314 COVID-19 patients undergoing treatment in ICU, 68 on ventilator support



KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Health and Population has said that 314 COVID-19 patients in Nepal are undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and 68 have been put on ventilator support.

According to the Ministry of Health, 37 persons are undergoing treatment in ICU in Province 1, 19 in Province 2, 175 in Bagmati Province, six in Gandaki Province, 54 in Lumbini Province, 18 in Karnali Province, and five in Sudurpaschim Province.

Spokesperson Dr. Gautam also said that six in Province 1, 57 in Bagmati, and two in Lumbini Province and three Sudurpaschim Province are on the ventilator support.
