Two more die of COVID-19 in Butwal

BUTWAL: Two more coronavirus infected people have died at the temporary COVID Hospital of Lumbini Provincial Hospital on Thursday.

The deceased have been identified as a 70-year-old woman from Butwal Sub-Metropolitan-7 of Rupandehi and a 73-year-old man from Bhumikasthan Municipality- 9 of Arghakhanchi.

The man from Arghakhanchi was admitted to the isolation of the hospital on Wednesday after suffering from fever and respiratory problems.

He died on the way to Beljhundi Hospital in Dang at 7:45 am on Thursday due to a lack of ICU in the hospital. He had tested positive for corona on Wednesday.

Similarly, the woman was admitted to the hospital and tested positive for the pandemic virus on October 7.

She died of fever, asthma, pneumonia and respiratory problems at 9:15 am today, the hospital said.
