KATHMANDU: Pakistani Ambassador to Nepal Mazhar Javed on Tuesday paid a courtesy call on Agni Prasad Sapkota, the Speaker for the House of Representatives.

Issues related to bilateral ties between Nepal and Pakistan and mutual cooperation were discussed during the meeting.

Stating that the relations between the two countries are cordial, Ambassador Javed expressed happiness over the cooperation from Nepal.

He further said that the activities should be intensified through the parliamentary friendship group by increasing the cooperation between the two parliaments.

The meeting, in fact, was a farewell call, as Pakistani Ambassador Javed is returning to his country after completing his tenure in Nepal.

Ambassador Javed also had a farewell meeting with Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa Badal, National Assembly Speaker Ganesh Prasad Timilsina and other dignitaries.
