Dahal and Oli have issued the circular in a party committee meeting promising not to let any dispute arise in the party in the days ahead.

Ruling party’s chairmen have promised not to go back to any disputes and regard the fifth meeting of the party’s Standing Committee as the base to settle all the previous disputes.

“The party agrees to end all conflicts and will ensure such conflicts will not arise in future,” reads the circular signed and issued by the party chairmen.

They have directed all all the party rank and file not to criticize or spread propaganda against each other making a mountain out of a molehill and have asked them to confine the differences only to the assigned forums in line with the party statute, warning an stringent action action against groupism, anarchism and undisciplined behaviors.

Similarly, the fifth SC meeting has made a commitment to ensure 33% representation of women in all committees of the party.

Interestingly, the nine-member strong Secretariat of the ruling NCP has no women in it.
