63-yr-old of Gorkha succumbs to COVID-19 at Chhauni Hospital

KATHMANDU: A coronavirus-infected person has died in the course of treatment at Chhauni Hospital in the capital.

A 63-year-old woman of Barpak, Gorkha, succumbed to the COVID-19 on Monday, according  to the Ministry of Social Development of Gandaki Pradesh.

The sexagenarian, who tested positive for the virus on September 10, was also suffering from cancer.

With this, the number of deaths from coronavirus has reached 30 in  Gandaki Pradesh.
