 55-yr-old woman of Bara dies of COVID-19 in Birgunj

BIRGUNJ:   A woman has died from coronavirus in the course of treatment at Narayani Hospital in Birgunj Metropolitan City of Parsa district.

According to Dr Atulesh Chaurasiya of the hospital, a 55-year-old woman succumbed to the disease at 7:15 pm on Monday.

Originally from Dumarwana of Bara district, the patient had been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of Narayani Hospital at 11:15 am yesterday after she was confirmed to have been infected with the coronavirus.

She had also been suffering from high blood pressure and dibetes, according to Chaurasiya.
